...Jerry, My appologies for the delay in responding.
What i really was hoping to find out is the following: (1) Who was Francois Dupuis,i.e. Military man, Farmer, clergy (Catholic, protestant), was he of noble descent etc. (2) Georgette Richer arrived to New France in 1670 with a 350 lb.+ 50 lbs from the King which seems a lot compared to other King's daughters, Why. (3) Francois made a will out that allows for money donation to the Recollets-Jesuits and his will was way out of the ordinary, does that mean that he had some sort of education that taught him this practice. (4) Is there any information available about his and Georgette's parents, i.e. what were their occupations in France as well as Francois's in New France. The records seem to indicate that Rene Dupuis was a captain of the militia in or around (Laprairie,Chambly) region, therefore there is most likely some military or political aspect to his having this position. In summary, any information that you or others might have would be of interest to me.
Please accept my sincere thank you for your past and future help.
Gilles Dupuis Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01359487937889308294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2861880122823403156.post-50355072940669549642018-11-16T07:20:54.332-08:002018-11-16T07:20:54.332-08:00Hi Gilles,
